TM - 53 - Fun
Jan. 2nd, 2005 04:46 amI have been told in the past that my sense of humor tends to be rather subtle, and I suppose that is true. For instance, there is one day that I recall when Duncan came to see me about a man named Ursa. He was wondering whether I had heard anything about him, but unfortunately I hadn’t in quite some time. I was sorry that I couldn’t help my friend in his quest for information, but there was an opportunity there for a bit of fun that I simply couldn’t pass up
For several years Duncan had frowned upon my favorite blend of tea, a rather earthy flavor derived from a particular moss that I had grown myself, so when I asked him to try a cup of tea he wrinkled his nose and asked me if it was that particular kind. Of course it wasn’t because I knew Duncan didn’t like it, and I told him so. He however wasn’t so sure about trusting me and he asked once more before taking a sip. That’s when I informed him that it was actually from a form of mold.
The look on his face when he spit it out was most amusing.
