Jan. 9th, 2005 02:11 pmDarius was sitting at his desk, reading a book on ancient Chinese herbalism, when he sensed the presence of another immortal close by. He closed the book carefully and set it down on the desk, then got slowly to his feet. He wasn't to concerned about the presence, as he was on Holy Ground and even the most unscrupulous immortals would not dare to fight him here, but he was cautious none the less.
He slowly walked into the chapel and down the aisle leading to the front doors of the church, where he saw two men standing in the doorway, looking around somewhat nervously.
"May I help you?"

Date: 2005-01-10 03:34 am (UTC)Aidan had heard of this priest from his kinsman and yet he was always somewhat troubled when meeting a new immortal for the first time. It wasn’t as if he believed that the priest would take his head, but rather that he would be like every other immortal (only ten times worst). He would look down upon Aidan and not treat him with any respect. He would think that Aidan asks too many questions and he needs to know where his place is in this world. It would be worsened by the fact that Darius is a priest and would use that whole ‘hell and brimstone’ routine that so many have. Aidan grew up in an all boys Catholic School and so his tolerance for that was very limited.
He wants to turn back and walk out the door, but he knows that the other immortal sensed him and he was on his way. Just when Aidan was about to leave the church, they heard Darius speak. Aidan looks at Wes and Wes looks at Aidan and it is Aidan that is the first to speak, “Yes, I am Aidan …MacLeod.” It is the first time that he has used his real name to anyone other then to the ones that know. “I sent you world that I would be seeing you today…”

He then looks at Wes.
"Who is your friend?"

Date: 2005-01-10 04:43 am (UTC)"I'm Wes," he looks at Aidan and his smiles softens a bit, "and I'm also leaving so the two of you can have your little chat. There's that little coffee shop not to far from here where I can sit and watch the pretty Parisian ladies walk by if you want to meet me there when your finished Aid, okay?"

He walks out of the room for a moment to go to the little kitchen off of the rectory itself.

"....So, there you have it."

Or, If you ever leave the abby so that we can talk in a place that is more comfortable...
Or....*could honestly go on and on*
