on_holy_groundFingertips brush slowly across bare skin. A caress that is just hard enough to cause the flesh beneath to tingle, and just light enough to leave him wanting more. The touch, despite the fact that it continues to just barely make contact, creates a growing sense of heat that coils low in his body. And with each pass of skin against skin, the sensitivity and intensity seems to grow in leaps and bounds until he wants to scream out the need he can no longer hide.
The touch changes, becoming a deeper sensation, the palm of a hand rather than just fingertips. Then there is another touch altogether as lips press briefly against his shoulder, leaving slightly damp places where a tongue has slipped past to add it’s own kind of caress. It continues up the side of his neck and along his jaw even as the touch of the hand moves lower on his body. He gasps…
And opens his eyes, his breathing ragged as he takes a moment to try and catch the breath that seems to be eluding him just now. Eventually he sits up in bed as the last moments of the dream let loose their hold on him, and then he gets up to make himself a pot of tea, knowing there will be no more sleep for him this night.
