I don't believe I have ever been teased by a priest. Chastised surely, for all my work defending the rights in Parliament, but never teased.

Well they do say that there is a first time for everything, and I've never really been accused of being a typical priest by most people's standards. At least, not by those that know about such things.

That does not really surprise me, even though it does sadden me, as the church tends to be rather short-sighted and not above reproach about a great many things.

Why Christianity? Why not be a Buddhist monk?

I mean, I've always leaned more towards Christianity merely for the pleasure of fancying I'm damned, but that doesn't really seem to be your sort of endeavor.

I've tried Buddhism in the past, but I decided on Christianity because it seemed to be the best place for me to help the most people. Perhaps one day I will reevaluate that decision, but for now it still suits me.

Yes, well, sitting on top of a mountain in Tibet meditating doesn't really lend itself to actually helping much of anything but keeping your head, no matter what Doc says.

Sometimes it can however, help you to keep a level head, although I personally don't need the mountain in Tibet in order to practice meditation. I've found that sually a good cup of tea can often accomplish much the same thing.
