Calling An Old Friend ~ for

Jan. 10th, 2007 10:00 amDarius had left New York shortly after the beginning of the new year, and had gone back to the city of his downfall, Paris. He had spent the first week learning the layout of the city, and finding out where all the less savory elements tended to make their headquarters. After that, he had started watching those elements, and learning who the leaders were, and how they operated. Some, he dismissed outright as being too chaotic or too miserable to do him any good. There were others though, that had the kind of qualities that he was looking for, and he noted who they were and learned everything that he could about them. It would be a long process to find the kind of men he was looking for and bring them all together, but he knew that it would all be worthwhile in the end.
One evening, as he was returning to the hotel, he happened to reach into his pocket and found the card that Hsu had given him that night at the Paradise Club. Smiling slightly, he flipped the card over and saw the information for Grayson on the back. After a moment of thought, Darius decided that perhaps now would be a good time to contact his old student, and see just what it was that he had been up too since his apparent resurrection. So pulling out his mobile, he dialed the number, then slipped the card back into his pocket as he waited for someone to pick up on the other end.

"How are you Darius?" he added, his smile widening.
