I can only assume that you are talking about material possessions, something that can be touched and held in the palm of one’s hand. This does of course make the answer a bit harder for me as I have very little in the way of material possessions, other than my books and journals. There is one book in particular however that I hold very dear, and of all of the volumes in my library, it is the one that I would be the most upset at losing.
A man who was a close friend, and whom I still miss very much, gave it to me many years ago. The story is one that is well known by most people, in name if nothing else, but it is not the story itself that makes the book a treasure. It is not even the great price I could likely get for it, since it is hand written by the author himself, and is quite valuable. The reason that this story means so much to me, is that every time that I hear it or read it, I can hear my friends voice in my head, and remember him fondly.
So perhaps in reality it is not the book itself, but the memories that it brings to mind, that is the real treasure.

Date: 2005-04-16 07:27 pm (UTC)In Darius' mind, he creates the image of Sestra and Darius naked, kissing in a white room, slowly turning red as she moves lower, finding his erection, licking it, nuzzling it, kissing it before parting her lips to suck him down.
"Did he not say, go out and procreate. So you can build his family?"
